★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from here is really awesome! You can see the whole town of Sitia and the valley and sea. The vibes of the location bring you millenia back, at the era of Minoan civilization! Also, the summer house of legendary poet and intellectual Vitsentzos Kornaros is right there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I doubt if it's open to the public before May .Have been told they hire a guard during the peak tourist season (May-September)
the Minoan archeological site is only 450 meters from the central road (sitias-palekastrou) and i suggest you not to make the mistake and get there with a car as the small road that leads to the site is super narrow and parking is a hard thing.
leave your car somewhere in the central road and just walk these 450 meters until you will finally arrive to the archeological area!
