Fantastic place to stay if you ever visit Santorini. Located just outside the edge of Thira about 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket and 10 minutes from the town. Very pretty hotel with interesting decor and good facilities in the room. Stayed in a double room which had plenty of space for 2 adults and a very spacious balcony area. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We already made plans for our daily activities and restaurants, but they gave us additional tips for each place to visit which were invaluable. Also a great place to watch the sunset just across from the front of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

First of all everyone from the stuff working there were great! The other very important moment is that it’s located about 10minutes walk from the all the fun places, which is very convenient, as all the taxi/transfer drivers know where it is located and can drop you or pick you up right near the entrance. And the walk itself, - magnificent! (thinking of all those people who book their places in the old city, where taxi can’t go, so tourists have to look for their places themselves , dragging their luggage in super hilly, slippery, narrow layers of streets, numerous stairs... think of bringing comfortable shoes for slippery surfaces)))

Positive- We arrived at the Philippion after staying two nights at a more expensive hotel on the cliff. We we're more pleased with the service at this hotel then the other, as well as how clean it was. The service was amazing from the moment they let us store our bags early. They helped us arrange transportation to the airport and even had a light breakfast put in our from the night before, so we could have something before our travels. The hotel does still have a view, you just have to cross the street to see it. So if you are not pressed by the need to sleep where you can see the view right out the window. This hotel is good for you. This hotel by far had the best service of all of our stays in Greece. Also, the pool area is stunning and the rooms are clean, neat and welcoming. The drinks at the pool bar are delicious. Negative only that they really could use a little more decorations in the rooms to pull back on some of the white.

The hotel was just as described. The room was immaculately clean with a cute balcony attached. The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the town of Fira which is within 5 minutes walking distance of all the restaurants, shops and cafes. The pool was also clean, private and, for the most part, child-free. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The only areas that could be improved were the breakfast and food menu at the pool bar offered, which was quite basic for the price - that said, the staff were happy for us to bring our own snacks and drinks around the pool. All in all we are really pleased that we picked this hotel for our honeymoon break. Would definitely recommend!

We'd booked at this property in the month of June for a stay between 14th - 21st July and had to cancel on the 12th July evening. The hotel has gone ahead and charged us 476 Euro as cancellation charges and this while it is peak season with high demand. Surely they didn't close that room, I'm sure they charged more for it and made double the money. This is called fleecing and unethical.

Super good location near Fira. Walk to main bus station takes 5min. Also center of city is 5min away. Rooms super clean and quiet. Reception organized smooth transfer from and to airport. Pool was little cold for us in April.
