E	EMEL M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place in Livadia. It came quite as a surprise after driving through the little streets of the city. Didn’t expect to find such a nice place in ‘the back’ of the town. The falls are constructed in natural stone, as well as the path around them. Little stone bridges cross the river at some points, and are lit up at night from underneath. Very beautiful!

Two things that need improving : signs to the place and its parking, and cleanup of the parts of the river that are passing under the little beautiful bridges,as we saw trash like plastics in some spots. If the latter is fixed it would be much more beautiful to visit.

Trophonius. was a Greek hero or daimon or god—it was never certain which one—with a rich mythological tradition and an oracular cult at Lebadaea. "To descend into the cave of Trophonios" became a proverbial way of saying "to suffer a great fright". This saying is alluded to in Aristophanes' Clouds.

V	Vangelis Koukidis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice piece of nature practically next to the town center. On holidays it can be really crowded, but at least it's clean. If you want to see a bigger part of it, you will need hiking experience, as it is - like most places in Greece - not fully prepared for people (a clear walking path). But you can see a large part as is.

Please read up before you go in order to enjoy not only the modern face but also the past adding means to the meaning. One important notice is that the place gets packed during public holidays. If you can, visit either during week days or a Saturday. There are cafeterias in the area and taverns should you wish to dine there as well.
