★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little village in Crete wishing well bar worth a visit get a taxi up the hill and then nice stroll back down through the other villages nice bars/restaurants/shops ..taxi up the hill 7euros

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic people work here and they are very friendly. Delighted to come and stay here. One the best hotels is in crete. You also get a beautiful view of the moutian as the sun sets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piskopiano village is a lovely place to stay. It still has a traditional Greek village feeling although tourism is obviously getting a grip. Don't even think about it if you have mobility problems though, it's on the side of a very steep mountain!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely people, loads of restaurants with gorgeous food, amazing weather and the scenery was just beautiful. Bit of a trek for a sandy beach though. There is one about half an hour by car that is nice and private. Unfortunately my apartment only had air conditioning in the main bedroom which resulted in many a sleepless nights for me. This affected my holiday a lot as I wouldn't look forward to going to sleep. I'm a heavy sleeper so the fact that I couldn't sleep says a lot.
