Amazing spot you can't miss while driving to Kipi you can also go for a nice stroll down with the river, there was no water during June 2019. If you reach the area during lunch time, continue to Kipi village and grab a Greek Salad and Big Beans mea in the Machalas Tavren owned by a guy named Michalis, you will see it on the left of the main road after entering the village, send him my regards and best wishes. This bridge unique because it contain from 3 archs. In begin of October no water under it. Will be interesting for people which can understand of all complexity of building process of old times. If you want visit all bridges near Kipoi. I suggest to make a small walk from this bridge to another through the forest(to use hiking trails)

Very beautiful stone bridge. A few words: Plakidas bridge is spotted close to Kipi and Koukouli villages in the area of Central Zagori. For years on end it served the residents of the two villages in their transportation and rural activities. It stands out for its unique architecture, as it is one of the few three-stringer bridges that exist, so there is no wonder that it is one of the most photographed bridges in Zagori. In the beginning the bridge was wooden, however with the contribution of Serafeim, the abbot of Kipi’s Monastery, it was reconstructed with stone. Because of that, the bridge was named “Kalogeriko”, which means “of the abbot”. After 1865 it was repaired by Alexis Plakidas, to whom it owes its current name.
