Θα διαπιστώσεις ότι οι πέτρες προέρχονται από τα θεμέλια του βυζαντινού ναού των Αγίων Θεοδώρων αλλά και από ρωμαϊκό, ταφικό μνημείο. Όσο για τα μάρμαρα, είναι το μνημείο Αγωνιστών Εθνικής Αντίστασης.Με ιδιωτική πρωτοβουλία του κ. Δ. Παρασκευά αναπλάστηκε το 2007 αυτή η πλατεία και απέκτησε την σημερινή της μορφή.Αξίζουν πολλά συγχαρητήρια αλλά πρέπει και εμείς να φροντίσουμε για την διατήρηση της καθαριότητας του
