★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the park opposite the Monastery Penteli. It is next to the central squares of Nea and Palea Penteli and Penteli Town Hall. The Monastery is a must visit place in Attica due to its history, architecture and gardens. Not far away, to the south and over the hill lies the National Observatory of Athens. Next to the square there is a famous tavern "Telis" serving traditional Greek cuisine dishes in value for money prices. The area is ideal for hiking.
