Picturesque scenery from afar. Large square with large church. Chestnut trees and a fresh water fountain. Marble memorial showing those who had fallen for their country during various wars. A few restaurants and cafes surrounding the square - all closed!. A few cats but not a soul to be seen! Only cafe further down the road where a woman (only, inhospitable, person I saw) was collecting cushions and closing at 2pm!
