★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh and local produce, speedily served piping hot. A taverna that has a huge array of both stew plates and meat and fish grill prepared on the day and consumed on the day. Massive portions too. Servers speak perfect English. The view to the Aegean blue waters is as appetising as the food. And prices are not just reasonable but almost unbelievable.
That’s how a Greek taverna should be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent and plentiful food. The aubergine imam is delicious, and the fried courgettes and greens accompanied it well. Plenty for two. With half litre of wine and bread and free pudding only 17 euros. Superb! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect place. Food is delicious, homemade, generous portions, fresh fish and fair prices. I would recommend the artichokes, the stuffed zucchini and the papoutsakia, my family love moussakas and meatballs (soutzoukakia) with french fries. But you would love whatever you chose. You will be thrilled with the view, the service and the food. On top of that the place is extremely clean. Don’t miss Ploes if you come to Kyparissi, Lakonias.
