The Ecclesiastical Council of the Holy Monastery of Agios Panteleimon Ilissos in its meeting on February 13, 1961 decided the establishment of a fundraising committee for the construction of an office hall and a Youth Center of the Church. In 1962 the construction permit was granted. In January 1968, an auction was announced for the assignment of the project, which was undertaken by Eleftherios Tselios. At the beginning of 1969, the construction of the offices of the cultural center began and the construction with concrete of the rest of the center. The Ecclesiastical Council at its meeting of May 23, 1971 decided to announce an auction for the nomination of a contractor for the execution of the completion works of the spiritual center. The project was awarded to the last bidder, civil engineer Dim. Kravvaritis and the supervision of the works to the engineer Chr. Kyrousis. The first certification for finishing work was submitted in December 1971. In the following period there were problems regarding the materials that had to be used due to exceeding the agreed, but the Ecclesiastical Council always approved additional funds for the completion of the center. Today in the renovated area of ​​the center are housed offices of the Temple, a hall of receptions and events, the Catholic Schools, the Schools of Music, Choir and Hagiography, as well as storage spaces.
