Very nice, cozy and clean hotel. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Good food. The hotel is far enough away from the city crowds and noise. Thank you for the hospitality.

We had a last minute booking in this hotel without knowing the town of Chersonissos. 1# : Very clean hotel, nice pool area, nice eating areas (maybe sometimes too close from the street). 2# : Very professional staff but totally unfriendly (except one or two). One young waitress was very nice and smiling at us quite often but that was all. None of them wear a name tag, so we never know who they are... It is sometimes uncomfortable. 3# : Chersonissos is an uninteresting town where, in the high season, young Dutch and Russians come to party all night long and come back in the middle of the night yelling and shouting, waking you up at 5:00am throwing chairs over the balcony AND climbing the balcony handrail totally drunk. The night ward responded very quickly and firmly, that was a good point. (And he was very friendly, too!). 4# : The hotel is composed of 3 buildings. If you are in the main one, you may sleep quite well (most of the rooms are not directly on the street) but if you are in the 2nd one (on the other side of the street), you may be woken up by the cleaning lady at around 7:00am (please, do not forget that the young Dutch had already woken you up at 5:00am!). This cleaning lady, with all my respect, is the noisiest person I have ever heard in all my life! She doesn't speak to you at all, even a 'Hello' in Greek is impossible for her but when she starts cleaning the corridors and halls at 7:00am, she hits her broom in all the walls and she slams the doors !! So, I came back from my stay more exhausted than when I arrived... 5# : The food is OK I would say. But definitely not at the standards of a 4 star-hotel in France or Germany. I think everybody books an all-inclusive stay so the food can't be perfect as there are many left-overs even if the Russians eat very well! So, I could recommend this hotel but NOT in July and August!!!!!!!And not in Buildings 2 and 3!!!!!!!

What's good : Pollis Hotel is a pretty nice place. We can feel the buildings are only a few years old. Good materials quality were used for the structure and rooms. Pictures are accurate. Good room cleaning service. This was the good part and was accurate from what we could read and see when we made our reservation. What's not good : - Despite a lot of comments we could read here, the restaurant is only average. The variety and quality of the food is pretty poor. Fruits and vegetables are not that fresh. Desserts are still frozen. Coffee machine delivers something that contains way too much water. Fruit juices don't contain any fruit (just sugar and aroma). Main dishes are pretty often not heated enough (and a bit too salty)... Though we have to make a special mention to morning omelettes, home-made pizzas and the main dish next to the pizzas that was changing from day to day. - If our perception is different from a lot of comments here it maybe because Russians are the most numerous customers. It seems their standard are lower than average western Europeans. - Speaking of Russians, COVID 19 doesn't exists for them and has they represent the major part of customers, I guess the hotel accustomed to this. No one is wearing masks, no safety distance, no nothing, except gloves for the restaurant. - The only use of the ridiculous swimming-pool is to let mosquitos reproduce (so much mosquitos in the rooms while there are none when you visit other spots in Crete). - Rooms are quite dark. - Staff at the welcome desk don't say hello and don't seem to acknowledge your existence unless you specifically need them for something. Don't get me wrong, they are not rude but it surprised us having people around so indifferent but maybe it also has to do with Russians people who behave quite differently from western Europeans. To conclude, we weren't satisfied by this place for the price we paid (if it was a lower price we wouldn't have been so judging). Yes, the buildings are pretty new but we would have happily trade this aspect for better food quality and service. PS : In our opinion all inclusive is absolutely unnecessary as you can eat outside for very cheap and amazing quality.

Beautiful and clean hotel, staff is very helpful and friendly. Their own corona safety concept seems to bother nobody. Guests walking around without masks in the building or at the buffet. Staff never intervenes nor seems to care. Pity. Breakfast buffet range is quite okay, apart from stale melons getting served days in a row. We drank 1 black tea on the first day, after that it never got restocked (even after asking day after day). Anyways, nice hotel in nice location, even though area is crowded with 18 y/o party people fighting boxing machines. Quite annoying during the night, but of course not the fault of the hotel.

This hotel is new, and the territory is clean. The staff are polite, well qualified, caring and helpful. It's situated in 3-4 minutes from the sea. Food is delicious. It includes different kinds of meat (pork, chicken, beef) and fish, the variety of vegetables and fruit (apples, figs, peaches ,oranges, melons and watermelons),cakes etc. There's a kettle, a fridge, an iron, ?, a conditioning system in the room. This hotel has a lot of advantages, but the only one disadvantage is lack of own territory near the sea, where you can take or rent sunbeds...Sometimes it was a problem for me. Nevertheless there are two small swimming pools at the territory of the hotel. I liked given service at this hotel, and I recommend everybody to stay at Pollis hotel ❤

I stayed one week at Pollis hotel and I am really disappointed. Even though the place is clean, the swimming pool area is nice and the hotel is close to the beach there are many things to notice. Firstly , the air conditioning in our room didn’t work and we suffered from the heat the whole week! After we noticed it to the manager, nothing changed. Secondly, the hotel is located in a very noisy street, without any charm, next to a very touristic area with lots of traffic and party animals screaming until early in the morning, it was impossible to rest and have a good night sleep. I am more tired now than when I arrived. Thirdly, the food was barely eatable. For a 4 stars Hôtel it is a shame to serve such over/under cooked cheap food. Then, the owners of the hotel were not friendly, never a smile or a hello, we didn’t feel welcome. More over, it was not allowed to take the towels outside of the hotel so you need to bring your own beach towels. Why on earth is that an issue to provide guests with extra towels? To conclude, if you are looking for a calm place to rest and eat good food, look somewhere else.

Nice small city hotel. All is new after repair. Food is not bad, always repeats, but it was a problem for us. From alcohol they proposed red and white wine, beer and that all. Other alcohol and cocktails for cash. Close to beach, 90% of which was took by sun-beds from other holes. We didn’t like that beach. Too many stone is there(( but you can walk approximately 20-30 minutes and find other beaches.
