★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very user friendly. We arrived to the port and walked almost a mile to our ferry with very poor signage and waited to get on the wrong boat for a while before being directed to the correct ship. I’m not sure of a more efficient way to navigate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delighful iced mochacino on board the Blue Star Padmos. The waiter was not on top of his game that day. He practically ignored me for most of the 7 hour trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Left the ship straight into the Arrivals lounge, picked up the baggage and onto the relevant coach, less than 20 minutes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5* service
5* stuff
5* accessibility
Piraeus is a huuuuge port. To take a ferry or to get out of the port once you arrived by your ferry - there is a free shuttle driving around the port to its entrance near the subway station. But its better to show up at least 1 hour before your ferry time. If you arrive by taxi, it might not be allowed to enter the port's territory neither, so the taxi will drop you off near the entrance too, where you will take the shuttle to get to your ferry. But some hotel shuttles and taxis enter the port and can drop you right near your ferry. So be ready for 2 cases, ask in advance where exactly the car can come.
PS The shuttles and the port territory is fully accessible. + there are lines only for walking too in case if you wish just to walk to your gate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely port, with exemplary staff and service. This is one of the practical and quintessential gateways to the storied Greek islands, and we found it be easy to navigate, replete with food, bathrooms, quick ease of access to adjacent restaurants, and most significantly, the train back to Athens and a host of other stops.
Very well maintained and wonderful Greek hospitality, though you’re sure to meet friendly fellow travelers from all over the world!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This port is large but well organized. We were a little turned around at first but once we found our ferry the process was extremely smooth and easy. You show your ticket and walk onto the boat! So much faster and easier than dealing with the airport. We rode on a sea Jets ferry and I recommend them! If you get sea sick, it is a good idea to bring medication with you. The passenger ferries are much smaller than cruise ships and you can feel the boat moving. I was fine but my significant other had to take medicine.
