★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EXPENSIVE - but worth it. This is where they make their pastries so it is less expensive than their main store. It is out of the way so assuming that you find the place, try the pistachio eclair!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For exercise, during the Covid-19 lockdown, I've taken up walking through areas not too far from where I live in Athens and it's amazing how many great new places I've discovered ... like the Potrtatif pastry/coffee shop & open workshop in the Exarchia neighbourhood.
I always love places that have an open kitchen/ workshop where you can watch the staff like Apostolo, the shop"s pastry chef, making the "homenade" sweets they sell.
When I entered today, he was making small sized Melamakarona that looked very tempting & for sure worth another visit before Xmas.
The shop is small but inviting and I really like their friendly service & atmosphere as well as many of their various sweet treats! Today I bought the profiterol topped with chocolate crumble that is delicious ... but perhaps a bit too much of a good thing! ???
