L	Lesley Jones on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We returned on Friday evening after rating the food very highly 3 or 4 years ago. Unfortunately it was the worst meal of our holiday, we could hardly eat anything. We were so disappointed as it was our last night in Greece, we couldn’t face complaining so we paid the bill and left hungry. Aubergine fritters were served as greasy fried matchsticks, soaking in oil. Briam was a mush of indistinguishable vegetables with no flavour, which had separated from a sea of oil. A whole sea bream had been cooked with no skill, served exploded and impossible to separate flesh from skin. We have been visiting Greece for 30 years and have never been served such unpalatable food. Perhaps we were just unlucky as there are many good reviews from others, but we won’t be back.

The owners and waiters were extremely friendly and answered any questions even gave cooking tips. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area look for a great local meal.

The waitress presented us with the fresh fish they had available and educated us on farm raised vs wild caught, they offered wild caught. We started with a delicious Greek salad, and followed with a very flavorful and tender octopus appetizer. The fish was “fall of the bone” perfect! It was accompanied by an oregano olive oil that was excellent on the fish! We finished off the dinner with an Ouzo and complementary fruit for desert. I’d love to visit again..

We tried the aubergine salad (mashed), the moussaka and the local rabbit dish with white sauce - all were very very nice and reasonably priced. I would come back here any time!
