★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food and lovely people. Went after an electrical storm and the air was clear and fresh. Great views over the harbour. I had the starter - which was grilled swordfish - though Alice (6) stole plenty of it. The spaghetti with prawns looked very good.

It wasn’t all bad, the lamb in wine I had was actually very good but my girlfriend’s salad was very salty, a shame as it would have been okay otherwise. We only drank the 500ml red wine, this was unfortunately just a cheap bottle of table wine rather than a local barrel wine, it really wasn’t great. The service was great to start with, very polite and attentive, then when we asked for the bill it took an age to arrive, the waitress having a snack behind the bar meanwhile. Then when we requested that the water we had not drunk was removed from the bill the waitress became very surly, I would have given 2 stars if it wasn’t for this. We didn’t leave a tip and it is very rare that we feel that we shouldn’t.
