★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a reason some of the other places around are full of people and this place is not. I visited this place some 7 years ago and it was much better then now. Food overpriced, not very good, portions also are small, especially octopus, which is 13 euros for one small tentacle. But the worst thing is the service, rude and impolite. Not gonna visit again.

It’s very close to Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center and finding a parking place could be a challenge during sunny Sundays. Restaurant environment is very simple and not inspiring, though it offers outdoor seating too. However if you are interested in high quality fresh fish, this is one of the places to visit. Good variety of starters (don’t miss the homemade spinach pie). Very tasty orzo and spaghetti with shrimps. Excellent kunefe as dessert! Medium to high end prices and professional service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Half of the dishes were not available, but we were informed after we were ready to order. Salad was too sour, not the vegetables expected. Fried calamari was tasty and a good size portion. Fried potatoes were so-so.. Bit expensive for the rest of the dishes size.

taverna near the Stavros Niarchos park. The food was top quality, fresh and very tasty. Our favorite was the homemade pesto and grilled calamari. The waiters were very attentive and made us feel right at home. To all the other reviews that said “they didn’t have this or that dish as advertised” - it’s because the food is fresh and based on what’s available! Get your fried calamari somewhere else!
