The environment of Charalampos Habour is very simple fishing village. But in a near possible to see some ruins from the Heyday of Antic Maronia (Roman Forum, Propylon, early Christian Basilica and Bath).
The Taverna was recommended by staff of King Maron hotel, and it's was a really surprise.
Simple but great and fresh seafood, with lot of local guests from Komotini region. (especially on the weekend ).
The staff nice and not too difficult ?.
My favourite was the octopus on grill, fresh grilled fish, fried calamari and feta saganaki.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish tavern.. Fresh and quality materials.. It's by the port so you could take an ideal walk when the sun dives.. It is near well known regional beaches.. The prices are very fair and the service is exceptional. If you have family or by yourself it's worth it and you will comfortable by the cosy environment

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After the Turkish police stole my canoe (I was on a charity trip of 14,000 km )I walked through Greece and arrived here. Finally I could hear women laughing and people relaxing,this beautiful restaurant did more than serve me an excellent cheese salad,I felt embraced in the warmth and generosity of the Greek soul,many thanks for charging my phone too,I'll see you in 2021 on the next trip!
