★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο λόγος που ειναι περιορισμένη η πρόσβαση είναι γιατι πριν χρόνια που ηταν ανοιχτή (εγώ περνούσα την περίοδο 2001 - 2004) το μποτιλιάρισμα εντός του πανεπιστημίου ήταν τόσο μεγάλο που εμπόδιζε την μετακίνηση εσωτερικά (από σχολή σε σχολή). Το highlight ήταν παραμονες ολυμπιακών 40 λεπτά από νεκροταφείο ζωγράφου μέχρι καισαριανή.
Βεβαια και αυτό που κάνουν τωρα λάθος ειναι, θα έπρεπε απλά να ζητάνε κάποια κάρτα πρόσβασης

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Με την Αττική οδό και την Καρέα Υμηττού να είναι δίπλα, η πύλη είναι ανοιχτή μόνο 7:00 - 10:00 και 14:30 με 17:00. Είναι η πύλη δίπλα στο τούνελ, με τις σχολές να είναι λίγο πιο πάνω. Με αυτό το ωράριο επιβαρύνεται και η κίνηση μέσα στον οδικό άξονα της Καισαριανής και επιβαρύνεται η ατμοσφαιρική ρύπανσή της από τις εκπομπές καυσαερίων. Τα αυτοκίνητα είναι αναγκασμένα να κατέβουν όλη την Εθνικής Αντιστάσεως μέχρι την Ούλοφ Πάλμε, να περάσουν την κάτω πύλη της πανεπιστημιούπολης και κατόπιν να ξανανέβουν τον δρόμο, να περάσουν πάλι σχεδόν απέξω απο την εν λόγω πύλη για να πάνε στις σχολές. Η πύλη Καισαριανής -Πανεπιστημιούπολης ΕΚΠΑ, θα εξυπηρετήσει πραγματικά όταν μένει ανοιχτή όσο λειτουργεί το πανεπιστήμιο, όπως και η πύλη στην Ούλοφ Πάλμε.
