★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σήμερα στην περιοχή σώζονται τα τείχη της Αρχαίας Αλυζίας κατασκευασμένα σε διαφορετικά χρονικά διαστήματα. Άλλα τμήματα έγιναν από ακατέργαστους ογκόλιθους και άλλα από κατεργασμένα μεγάλα λιθάρια σε παραλληλεπίπεδο σχήμα. Τα ερείπια τεσσάρων αμυντικών πύργων συμπληρώνουν τα οχυρωματικά έργα που σώζονται από την αρχαιότητα.
