Extremely disarming Tower with the mountain of Zeus, the Yukhta opposite to steal the show! It is a jewel! I highly recommend it! Good routes :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στο Στεργιανό, που βρίσκεται στις Βασιλειές, υπήρχε ένας μεγάλος πύργος. Ο πύργος αναφέρεται για πρώτη φορά σε έγγραφο του 1226 και στέκεται ακόμη σε κακή κατάσταση. Μπορούσε να στεγάσει 150 άτομα και είχε φρουριακό περίβολο. Η κατασκευή του προδίδει Ενετική προέλευση, αλλά χρησιμοποιήθηκε κι από τους Τούρκους.
Στην Επανάσταση του 1897 (24-25 Απριλίου) χρησιμοποιήθηκε από τους εχθρούς έγινε θέατρο ισχυρών συγκρούσεων. Τελικά καταλήφθηκε από τους επαναστάτες, που όμως δεν μπόρεσαν να το κρατήσουν. Έτσι, φεύγοντας τον έκαψαν για να μη μπορούν οι εχθροί να τον χρησιμοποιήσουν. Σήμερα τμήμα του πύργου χρησιμοποιείται ως κατοικία.
In Stergianos, located in Vassilies, there was a large tower. The tower is first mentioned in a document of 1226 and is still in poor condition. It could accommodate 150 people and had a fortress enclosure. Its construction betrays Venetian origin, but was also used by the Turks.
In the Revolution of 1897 (April 24-25) it was used by the enemies and became a theater of strong conflicts. Eventually it was occupied by the revolutionaries, who, however, could not hold it. So, leaving, they burned him so that the enemies could not use him. Today part of the tower is used as a residence.
