T	Thodoris Mavridis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αν και επιτυχών στις εξετάσεις του ECPE Proficiency που εξετάστηκα μέσω του φροντιστηρίου, δεν έμεινα σε καμία περίπτωση ικανοποιημένος από την διδασκαλία και την γενικότερη αντιμετώπιση της διοίκησης. Από την όλη μου εμπειρία, αποκόμισα πως η γενικότερη προσέγγιση της διδασκαλίας δεν είναι μαθητοκεντρική. Το παρόν φροντιστήριο ενδιαφέρεται κυρίως στο να ολοκληρώσει μια προκαθορισμένη ύλη. Δεν ήταν λίγες οι περιπτώσεις που απορίες και τυχόν κενά που είχαμε ως μαθητές τέθηκαν σε δεύτερη μοίρα στον βωμό της καθυστέρησης από την περάτωση της προλαθορισμένης ύλης. Η όλη φιλοσοφία των επιτυχιών και των ποσοστών -όπως διαμορφώνεται- αποκρίνονται στην "κατάταξη" του μαθητή σε συγκεκριμένη κάστα πτυχίων, προκειμένου να αποτυπώνεται το αποτέλεσμα και όχι η ουσιαστική εκμάθηση της γλώσσας. Οι αλλαγές στους διδάσκοντες υπήρξαν επίσης, απορρυθμιστικές αφήνοντας εμάς -ως σπουδαστές- μετέωρους σε διδασκαλία για εβδομάδες. Παρά τις δυσλειτουργίες, αντίρροπο παράδειγμα υπήρξε η κ. Ελένη που πέρα από τον επαγγελματισμό της- ως διδάσκουσα της αγγλικής- συνέβαλε στην περαιτέρω κινητοποίηση του τμήματος και στην αντιμετώπιση της διοίκησης εν γένει. Να σημειωθεί, πως απο ένα χρονικό σημείο και έπειτα εγώ και λοιποί συμμαθητές μου απευθυνθήκαμε σε ενισχυτική βοήθεια -ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα - για την πλήρη προετοιμασία μας για τις εξετάσεις. Αμφιβάλλω λόγω των παραπάνω, αν το φροντιστήριο μέσω του προγράμματος σπουδών που ακουλουθει μπορεί να ανταποκριθεί σε ανάγκες ενηλίκων, μιας και - παρά του χαμηλού κόστους των διδάκτρων- δεν κατανοεί τις ανάγκες των μαθητών ούτε εφαρμόζει πολιτική "ομοιογενων" τμημάτων. Although I was successful in the ECPE Proficiency exams that I was examined through the tutorial, I was by no means satisfied with the teaching and the general treatment of the administration. From all my experience, I have learned that the general approach to teaching is not student-centered. This tutorial is mainly interested in completing a predetermined material. There were not a few cases when questions and any gaps we had as students were put in the background on the altar of the delay from the completion of the pre-determined material. The whole philosophy of successes and percentages - as it is formed - respond to the "ranking" of the student in a specific caste of degrees, in order to capture the result and not the essential learning of the language. The changes in teachers have also been disorganizing, leaving us - as students - meteors in teaching for weeks. Despite the malfunctions, a counter-example was Ms. Eleni who, in addition to her professionalism - as an English teacher - contributed to the further mobilization of the department and to the management in general. It should be noted that from a certain point onwards, I and other classmates turned to me for support - private lessons - for our full preparation for the exams. I doubt because of the above, whether the tuition through the curriculum that follows can meet the needs of adults, since - despite the low cost of tuition - does not understand the needs of students or implements a policy of "homogeneous" departments.
