★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty nice refuge at the natural park of Valia Calda. Inexpensive accomodation option at a beautiful traditional environment inside the forest. There is not a big variety of food, but everything is tasty and well cooked. The staff is friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are lots of camping spots around but the refuge has a huge camping grounds full of trees and grass! The camping is free and you can eat and hangout in the refuge with the other campers, share some stories and even go to the nearest town! Amazing place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place of reference in the area. It has become a fan destination even more than Vovousa village which is located next to it. Its restaurant is the only with menu and price list(!) in the whole area. Delicious food with selection of vegetarian dishes and hosts with character! For those who seek total Greek mountain experience as many trekking paths start from there. A must "stay-eat business" if you are visiting the Zagori complex of villages in Epirus, Greece. They also have a 4bed room with individual bath! Kids and pet super friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing beautiful place to stay or just visit. Very friendly staff. Food very good. Interior vast bunk accomodation with separate rooms for men women and a few family rooms. Large attractive camping area with ample shade and green pasture. Nice walking and hiking routes and a pretty, peaceful setting. Once you go there you will keep returning!
