Rent a bike Dinos - batsi andros

Excellent service. The owner is very friendly and the bikes work like new. Hopefully we will visit again ..!!

Definitively 5 stars for Dinos rent a bike !!!! We rent a 80cc Quad bike for our 5 days journey in Andros and it was perfect for riding across the island. We really enjoyed the Bike and it worked very well ! Peoples working in Dinos are Amazing! They're so kind an we never met such helpful people ! Since we had bigs backpacks, they helped us to load it in the Quad and shared us some straps for all thé rental period. For the drop off day, they suggested us to call a taxi to drive us to gavrio port, but since we were a bit late, the taxi couldn't wait for us anymore. They decided to drive us by themself with there personnal car in Gavrio Port. Thank you so much ! You Rock ;)

EVERYTHING WONDERFUL at Dino's! We spent 1 week in Batsi, we rented a red Kymco moped here. Good price, transparent + clear + simple rental contract, owner was super friendly + helpful. Zero problems! Gladly again/ gern wieder! :-)

We took an ATV for 8 days, great way to explore the island. Service is great, lots of tips, atv was in good condition. The place is run by a couple (dinos and his wife) which you would really want to meet.

We rented a scooter for 3 days. An almost new Kimco 125cc. It was an excellent machine with the new 70/30 brake system on the left handle, superb for sudden stops to avoid holes in the roads. The lady who was running the Dino office was super friendly. We paid in advance. Got helmets with hair nets. Although no scooter riders wear helmets in the islands the hire companies always issue them at no extra cost. Dinos is situated at Batsi which is 15 minutes drive from the main port of Gavrio, so we caught a bus to get there.

Dinos wife was quite friendly however we had quite a few issues and Dino was very rude and confrontational about them. Initially when we first rented the bike there wasn't enough petrol to get to the petrol station so we had to push it half a mile up hill, not a big deal but one of a few issues that stacked. After driving about 40min we stopped at a beach for a few hours and when we got back to the bike there was a massive oil leak from an oil line, again not a massive issue but we were stuck and needed assistance. It took 1hr, 6ish phone calls and an email to get in contact. We were asked if we could get to a garage to get oil, we said no as as far as we could tell there was none in the bike and didn't want to reck the engine, we were told Dino would come out. While we were waiting the bike did blow over in the wind and did some minor cosmetic damage (we paid extra for insurance). In the mean time someone stopped and gave us oil, so we called back Dinos wife and explained and she agreed that we should drive back now as we had oil. When we got back to Dinos (we were in good spirits because this stuff happens) Dino was immediately confrontational and aggressive, insinuating that there was no leak and if there was it was our fault plus giving out that we put oil in the bike when there was "no need" and that we recked the engine as a result (it was fine), he refused to look at the pictures showing the leak and would not tolerate any mature conversion about it. We got a replacement bike and spent the next day driving around. When we attempted to start the bike the 3rd day it wouldn't start due to what I believe was a snapped/loose throttle cable. Luckily we were able to push the bike to Dinos wherein his wife proceeded to inform us that "there was no problem with the other bike and if there was it happened when it fell" which wasn't the case because the leak happened prior to that. The whole thing was staged to pass blame unfairly to us and refuse to acknowledge that the bikes weren't correctly maintained. What was most frustrating was that we happily acknowledged that issues happen and did not want any compensation but Dino insisted on being extremely rude about it for no reason, the whole thing could have been sorted with no confrontion at all. In the interest of fairness I will point out that no issue was made of the cosmetic damage to the first bike and we were given replacement bikes, prices were fair and they had a straightforward rental process and it's a convenient location. Rent with your eyes open, service was great when all was going well......
