β β β β β One of the best foods in Corfu, and even in Greece. Usualy we try different restaurant every day, but when we found this tavern we went to it every day of our stay. We tried every dish on menu and everything was good.

The fried chips were unfried.
The pinacolada drink has no coconut flower at all.

β β β β β The owner and I sort of clashed. I sat down on one of his loungers around midnight to watch the stars. The beach was completely empty, not a soul around.
He passed me and asked for 5 Euros of charge for using it. He said, he had been working since 7 in the morning and some people leave sand on the loungers at night and in the morning, customers might complain. I respect, heβs hard working, and I can imagine how picky some of the tourists around here are. However, I did not leave any sand on his lounger. And I would not have left any when continuing to walk.
I paid him 10 Euros, but he was still complaining, nor did he give me back any change. On one side, I felt empathy for him, it really must be a tough job with so many picky, snobby, drunk tourists around. On the other hand, it made me sad to see what this kind of surrounding leads to. An environment, where youβre only focussing on money - and cannot differenciate situations anymore. When it might be humane to let someone enjoy a peaceful moment - and when it might be necessary to stop intrusion.
Sure, I was intruding somehow. But in a really considerate way. I guess, one could have reacted in a different way to this. A bit less greedy for instance.

β β β β β I ordered Shrimps Grilled from menu position. Chips were in the lowest quality and Shrimps could be better prepared because I feel smell of it all the time. Salad was small but the best from this ordered position. Pina Colada drink didn't include taste of a coconut as a menu suggested. This drink costs 8β¬ - too much for this quality. The best were 2 sunbeds for 7 β¬ per day. Hope IT will be better during season time.

β β β β β It's a lovely well presented bar with clean toilets & very friendly staff, amazing location, views and service. The gyros was perfect (pork&chicken) the lattes we had were perfect too!
We rented 2 sunbeds & a canopy 7β¬ for the day, the girl who works the sunbeds and brings the food/drinks to you on the beach provides a top notch service with a smile. The owner and girl taking the orders from the bar were always very accommodating and made us feel welcome too. I'd definitely come back here again. Thankyou for the warm welcome!
