We don't understand any if the good recommendations for this place! Don't go there for food but maybe you can enjoy the location at the waterfront with a drink!

We lived at Vathi beach for 8 days, and this was the best place for dinner we encountered. It is authentic, quiet compared to the other restaurant, and the food is of higher quality. Furthermore, the family who runs the restaurant, are such nice people. George, the son, who was our waiter for all our dinners, was a very intelligent and polite guy, who gave great suggestions on both food and wine. You sit 0.5-2 metres from the water, depending on high or low waters. It is amazing. HIGHLY recommended.

T	Travelsexpand “Travelsexpand” on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn’t see the price of the shrimps Saganaki, but we couldn’t have imagined in our wildest dreams that they would cost 25 euro! It’s outrageous to pay for 4 shrimps, and not that tasty. Even though the “chef” said it’s “home made”, well, what else to expect?! The owner (same chef) said that the sauce is Sooo special, and it wasn’t. The rest of the food was so so, nothing extraordinary. We heard the “plint” from the microwave..So pls be careful with what you order! It’s a tourist trap BIG TIME…it looks authentic but it’s sooo fake..”Greed” it’s the proper name..
l	lesmallcheese on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by a friend and a frequent visitor of Sifnos, this quiet little spot was very cute. The chef is a dude with awesome stuffed cheese and free watermelon at the end. Wasn't my favorite Greek salad (the olives were a bit mushy - perhaps too ripe? Unsure), but we loved that all the veg + 85% of their ingredients come directly from their garden. Amazing. Service was very friendly. And you have the lovely sea and beach to look at. Superb.

My favorite was the artichoke stew with vegetables. The chickpea balls and special meatballs were also to die for. Can’t recommend this place enough.
