★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent home cooking and service at the right price. Why come to Greece and not have chicken souvlaki! First day in Greece and I am loving the meal we just finished at this place. My daughter not so but she is a teenager who doesn’t like experimenting with food. So her loss.
We had a great meal, right outside of the archeological Park. Grabbed a few postcards, wine and beer for our continued journey and it didn’t cost the earth. The service was excellent, she spoke great English and was very helpful even though it is tourist off season here.
Do yourself a favour and if you are stopping by to see the tombs, stop off here and grab a bite to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Nikoç Restaurant is located just opposite the entrance to the museum of the royal tombs of Aigai or Vergina. It's a small Greek restaurant with a superb terrace which serves only authentic Macedonian Greek dishes. The dishes are simple, but very delicious. The service is continuous until the museum closes. No comments on the value for money.
