M	Mary Kikikis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely spectacular site! The museum is inside the tomb complex, displaying the items found in the tombs. There are explanatory signs in both Greek and English, and helpful staff in attendance as well. This is a must-see destination!

Some of the items are extremely well preserved, you can find some of the original tombs as they were found and also the tomb of Philip, the father of Alexander the Great. This is definitely an experience of a lifetime, a must see.

The tour guide had an amazing way of talking about the stuff all around us that you would get really immersed and feel as if you where there inside the story. The museum is beatifully built and the representation of the items inside the tomb where very clear. It's nothing compared to the regular museums you probably have been. I won't spoil much, you need to see it with your own eyes!

A way to look into at least one of the chambers would be nice too. For the things seen I fellt it was a bit expensive. Be aware that the other sights in the city are free, however currently most of them are closed.
B	Brian Saylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully preserved tombs of Philip II and Alexander IV. The father and young son of Alexander the Great. The tombs had been untouched, so you can see how the ancient Macedonians cared for their dead elites.

Only reason for dropping a star is it is confusing what is and isn't open, most things are closed, and €12 a person is a bit steep when most things are closed. But the exhibit is really well put together and still a must see. We went just out of season amd the place was intermittently busy and quiet.
