★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have spend a lovely evening at this restaurant. The food was delicious - the vegetables came from the owners garden, the view from the terrace was amazing and in comparison to the cities you will get a lot more value for the price.
We would come back anytime :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice taverna, we had a good lunch over there. When it's not too hot you can sit on the beautifull terras at the backside of the taverna. You have a magical view over there. Good food and really nice raki after lunch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For anyone visiting the ancient and historic ruins in Polirrina I can recommend the short 4km journey to Kalathenes village and Stelio's Rotona cafe. Built on stilts overlooking a beautiful green valley it's the perfect stop for a cool beer. The simple Boureki made of potato, zucchini and village cheese in olive oil cooked with mint is superb rustic fare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful little tavern restaurant in the mountains. Absolutely a five star experience, both for the quality of the food and the richness of the nature around it. From our seats on the outdoor balcony we could see for dozens of miles across olive tree-covered hills to the mountains in the distance. The meals we had (moussaka, gemista, and Tzatziki) were delicious and filling. Highly recommended, and very worth seeing.
As a tip, and maybe a warning: the menu is small, with only about fifteen items. Know that in advance so that you don't come here and be disappointed by a small selection. The food is excellent, and whichever you choose will be a treat! I uploaded a photo of the current menu so you can check.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was really a hidden gem! The views were just so beautiful because you're overlooking the mountainside from the terrace. It was not crowded at all, and the owner was super friendly. We had this lovely view all to ourselves. This is not some fine dining experience, but more like a delicious home cooked meal with really fresh produce and natural flavors. They have a tiny farm down below where they grow their veggies. Trust me, you can tell it's fresh as soon as you take a bite. The menu is really only 15 items, so choices are limited, but they were tasty. If you like fresh veggies and subtle natural flavors I suggest the 'Gemista'. My partner had the moussaka and loved it.
