★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Placed in an ideal location close to the port and the Ammos beach, but also very close to the Chora. The rooms are clean and the staff very nice and helpful! Ms Katerina, the owner as far as we understood, is a great woman! We would definitely go back there if we visit Koufonisia again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best cafe/restaurant on Ano KOUFONISSI. Located just above the first beach you see. I never write reviews but really thought this deserved one! The salad was excellent, as well as the juice. I never eat the bread but could not resist here. I feel like everything on the menu would be well done. Lovely female server, possibly the chef & owner too! Don't eat at the port, avoid the cafes at Pori and skip the trendier looking spots around the town, this one is perfect, with great prices for koufonissi!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 minutes walking from the port, in front of the main beach there is this cute hotel, we asked and got a room here spontaneously.
It has a very nice balcony and the room is confortable and clean.
The bathroom does not have the curtain which is a bit annoying and the kitchen isn’t fully furnished of the basic utensils (missing forks, soap and sponge).
WiFi connection doesn’t work from the room tho.
Very pleasant stay and moderate prices (30€ for a double room at the end of September).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rate one star because there is no zero star option unfortunately! This hotel is run in a totally unprofessional way. To begin with nobody ever informed us that there is a free boat (owned by the hotel) to go around the beaches (when we asked they ironically answered "you didnt ask!"). Second, again nobody informed us that when you remove the key from the room, the power from the fridge is also cut (!!) therefore if you have food stored there, you either need to eat it all until you go to the hospital or throw it! Again they were ironic and said "why didnt this crossed your mind"(!!)...Third, we had to wait for around half an hour to check out and we almost lost our ferry. Last but not least, when we asked what was the remaining amount we had to pay (since we had deposited an amount already) nobody knew since they kept no records!! Pretty unbelievable! Avoid this place at all cost!
