★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basic, run down, smallest kitchen for a villa for 8people. Water wouldn’t drain from the shower. Shallow pool. Be careful you don’t spend you entire stay trying to get through the endless amounts of laminated rules and instructions that are dotted around the villa. Wouldn’t return

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve stayed here many times and in all of the villas which are well spaced and not overlooked. It’s a great base for exploring Almyrida and Chania. The villas have good sized bedrooms and bathrooms and the pools are big! We don’t spend much time in the kitchen - which is well equipped - but generally eat out in the many restaurants around Gavalohori and almyrida or barbecue on the big patio. Come here for a relaxing stay to enjoy a taste of authentic Crete!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic villa holiday in Crete with friends and family. Plenty of space for everyone and a lovely pool and terrace with views of mountains. The villa was clean and well equipped including beach towels. Nearby town of Almyrida has a beach and restaurants overlooking the sea and is 5 mins by car or walkable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fabulous holiday in Selene. Arrived to find the property immaculately clean both inside and around the pool. The location is perfect for exploring the Chania region. Almyrida with its lovely beach and great selection of restaurants is 5 mins drive away. The Villa itself was ideal for a family holiday, pool was a great size and the Villa well maintained and equipped with everything you could need. The shady veranda meant that we could enjoy the pool and peace of the olive grieve throughout the day, we were hardly inside! Owners and management company extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gorgeous place. Villas are lovely and spacious with stunning views of the White mountains. Peaceful and quiet location in the middle of the olive grove and yet local villages and beach are within walking distance. We were lucky to have the owners staying nearby who are very knowledgeable about the area. And what fantastic olive oil!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a gem. If you want 100% service from the owners where nothing is too much trouble to a fantastic location, this is for you. Pure relaxation and peace. We'll the insects in the olive grove make a background play list to the tranquility. The villa has everything you need and with a car you can get to everywhere you may wish to visit. Great tavernas and beaches close by. But the star of the show is the villa and pool. We loved it
