★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Χρονολογείται τον 13ο αιώνα μ. Χ. Ωστόσο πολύ πιθανό να αποτελεί ιερό κορυφής και η χρονολόγηση του να πρέπει να προσδιοριστεί σε π. Χ. εποχή. Τόσο τα μορφολογικά του στοιχεία όσο και η θέση του στα Κύθηρα, συνάδουν με το Αϊ Γιώργη στο Βουνό που είναι αποδεδειγμένα Ιερό κορυφής (ακριβός απέναντι και Β)
Επίσης αποτέλεσε Βίγλα και συμμετείχε στην μετάδοση της πληροφορίας για την Άλωση της Κωνσταντινούπολης με την δημιουργία μεγάλης φωτιάς.
 It is dated to the 13th century AD However, it is very likely to be a peak shrine and its date has to be dated to BC. Both its morphological features and its location in Kythera are in line with St. George in the Mountain which is a proven peak sanctuary (expensive opposite and B)
He was also a Vigla and involved in the transmission of information about the Fall of Constantinople with the creation of a great fire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα από τα λίγα ή και το μόνο μοναστήρι στην Ελλάδα με παρατηρητήριο. Έχεις θεα 360 μοιρών. Αξιζει να πας. Ο δρόμος που πρέπει να ακολουθήσεις είναι χωματόδρομος αλλά βατός.
One of the few or the only monastery in Greece with an observatory. You have a 360 degree view. It's worth going. The road you have to follow is a dirt road but passable.
