The church of Agios Marina is beautiful, built at the end of FILOTI and at the beginning of Danakos. With beautiful images of saints, the iconostasis is wonderful with the marble sanctuary, the believer who will visit it feels close to God.

Precioso entorno y vistas espectaculares, aunque conforme vas subiendo y ganando altura las hay aun mucho mejores. El inconveniente por comentar uno, es que no hay mucho sitio para aparcar. Dejamos el coche carretera abajo y cuando regresamos estaba casi solo, pero sin problemas. The chapel itself marks the starting point of one of the walking routes that goes up to Mount Zas (1,004 meters above sea level). Beautiful surroundings and spectacular views, although as you go up and gaining height there are even better ones. The drawback for commenting on one is that there is not much place to park. We left the car down the road and when we got back he was almost alone, but without problems.

A	Abdurrahman Calkin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We started our hike here for the Zas Summit. You can park your car around the road. We came by scooter and were able to place it next to the church. We left naxos at 5:30 and arrived here around 6:30 (Rode maximum of 30 Km/h due to unfamiliar road / country). Great time to start the hike with the Sunset, not very hot and a cool breeze towards the upper levels of the hike. They also call this route the Aghia Marina route. However, when you search for that on Google Maps, you also find a location about 35 minutes away from here. That is the wrong location, this is the correct Aghia Marina to start the Zas route. Hike is not too difficult if you occassinaly sport yourself (once or twice a week). Need good shoes & hat. Enjoy!
j	jorge garcia rey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little church (closed when we visited) at the start of the path that brings you up to the summit of Mount Zas. You should be able to park the car by the road or get a lift. This path, starting to the right of the church is easy to follow and sheltered at the beginning (north facing plus olive groves), it then becomes rocky, but not too strenuous; it should take around 50 mins to 1 hour to get to the top. The views are great all along, there is a pleasant breeze up at the top, and the sound of goats (goats' bells) is somewhat soothing.
