★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εξαιρετικό μοναστήρι... νομίζω το μοναδικό στην επαρχία... πολύ προσεγμένο και φροντισμένο... εντυπωσιακό και με άπειρες εικόνες... για τους fun των θρησκευτικών... ακόμα και παρεκκλήσι του Παϊσίου έχει... εντυπωσιακός πλούτος⁉️
 Excellent monastery ... I think the only one in the province ... very neat and cared for ... impressive and with infinite images ... for the fun of the religious ... even the chapel of Paisios has ... impressive wealth⁉️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το συγκεκριμένο μοναστήρι είναι αντρικό και είναι το μοναδικό που βρίσκεται τόσο κοντά στην μεθοριο . Η παράδοση λέει ότι πριν χαραχτουν τα σύνορα εμφανίστηκε η Αγία Παρασκευή και είπε που βρίσκεται η θαυματουργή εικόνα της. Στο σημείο που βρέθηκε αναβλύζει αγίασμα και χτίστηκε το μοναστήρι όπου πήρε και το όνομα αγία Σκέπη (της Παναγίας) για να προστατεύει τα ελληνικά φυλακια που βρίσκονται δίπλα στα σύνορα.
This particular monastery is male and is the only one located so close to the border. Tradition has it that before the borders were drawn, Agia Paraskevi appeared and said where her miraculous icon was. At the place where it was found, holy water springs and the monastery was built where it was named Agia Skepi (of the Virgin Mary) to protect the Greek outposts located near the border.
