Traditional, little tavern with nice service and good food. We went for the waiter's recommendation of fresh cod fish which wasn't on the menu - delicious! The souvlaki was a little bit dry, but the starter dish 'little shoe' (eggplant with minced meat) made up for it. Reasonably priced, highly recommend!

Basic Greek food, cheap wine, helpful staff. Tasty food but souvlaki meat was a little dry and octopus could have been more tender. Overall nice meal though.

Very friendly and polite service, homely place that uses fresh potatoes. Their Moussaka tastes heavenly! Very reasonable prices as well :) there's indoor and outdoor seating, at a quiet area of Plaka. Recommended if you are looking for traditional greek food!

Grilled meats were very flavorful but could have been more tender. Fried zucchini was way over-salted but was promptly replaced when issue was raised. Friendly service. Overall great meal.

Street food is not koutouki, bear this in mind when you visit Athens in summer. Maybe you are attracted by the idea of eating in a marvellously simple koutouki, but if you end up eating on the street with tourists passing by, and the food is not really simple, traditional, local, the word koutouki is emptied out and you will remain a pedestrian fooled by a marketing stunt, not having at all the koutouki experience. Streets crowded with tourists and koutouki don't go together. If you want koutouki, go outside in the depth of Athens, where you only see locals and a few tourists.

We had a great experience in this restaurant! The service was fast and kind and the food was delicious. We had some olives as starter and fried squid and special souvlaki as main. Good portions as well, we couldn't finish everything. And finally I asked for the bill and got an extra brownie with vanilla ice as surprise! Recommended!!!
