Location is perfect and the beach is beautiful. Bar prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

Simple hotel but with excellent beach and good bar service. Perfect for relaxing and swimming in the sea.

Great place, we visited the cafeteria, it has a wonderful view, right next to the sea, very friendly and kind staff, our baby had so much fun!

Small rooms and bathrooms, 3-4 of the rooms have no window - actually the windows looks at the restaurant, no air at night, big noise during the day. Breakfast is poor, it is not worth the high price.

The Santa Rosa offers pretty much everything the modern traveller could want, with the possible exception of a strong plumbing system, which I'll get to later. Rooms at the Santa Rosa were compact but by no means cramped, although bathroom size varied between the two rooms we were staying in. One of the rooms had a larger bathroom, whereas the other (pictured) was slightly tighter. The shower is powerful but the shower curtain should probably be a bit longer. WiFi and air conditioning are where this hotel excels. WiFi was strong and reliable throughout the hotel. Although not remarkably fast, it was perfectly acceptable. The air conditioning was able to cool the room quickly and effectively and made sleeping in the Santa Rosa a pleasant experience. Each room is a equipped with a fridge, which proved extremely useful during our stay. The rooms were clean and presentable, but it was not entirely clear how the hotel's plumbing system worked. One of our rooms had a little sign which appeared to indicate that toilet paper shouldn't be disposed of down the toilet, but the bin in the bathroom was the only one in the room, which seemed to be an unpleasant arrangement. Worse still, the bin in the other room had no lid, although there was no signage against putting toilet paper down the toilet in this room. Having to dispose of toilet paper in a bin is not really a problem, it's still fairly normal in this part of the world as far as I can tell, but the hotel staff could give clearer instructions to help guests who aren't familiar with Mediterranean toilet culture. The hotel breakfast was nice, with cereal, yogurt, and pastries, among other things. It seemed lacking in fresh fruit, but according to some Greek friends this year has not been the best for fruit. Although only warm milk was on offer, the staff were more than happy to proivde cold milk on request. The hotel is located fairly well, right by the sea of course. The walk into Alexandroupoli centre is about 20 minutes, and there is a Lidl a few minutes in the opposite direction. The in-room fridges make this very helpful. It is worth noting that Alexandroupoli's shoreline isn't generally rated by Greeks, but by an Englishman's standard it is lovely, the water isn't crystal clear but is clean and mild in temperature. Overall, I would happily stay in the Santa Rosa again, and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Alexandroupoli. It offers a comfortable stay at a reasonable price, without the bells and whistles.

Lovely place to enjoy the beach... There are BBQ stands available for enjoying the beach and weather with grill. Amazing staff, the lady at the office speaks Turkish very well (Mia). It was hard to leave the hotel, I strongly recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy amazing beach.

Great place to relax. On the beach itself. The sand is nice and the sea shallow. There are no stones. The hotel is one-storey. Clean. Each room has a table and chairs. Nice playground. Free parking. The staff is kind. Two kilometers from the city. Billa Shop is 100 meters away.

The rooms are clean, but that is all about it. The pictures on booking.com look better than the reality. The airconditioning wasn't working, the bathroom was very small, you had to stay on the side of the toillet to be able to use it. The prices are too high for what is has to offer. The breakfast was normal, nothing special, not very rich in choices. The beach and the parking lot is crowded because everybody can come there, not only the clients.
