Very enjoyable tour and good communication from the company before hand. The bus transfer back to the hotel was a bit chaotic but we got home in the end.

This was an absolutely great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable, made our tour interesting, fun and enjoyable. Professionalism to the last detail. Veroniki, the owner was very helpful from the booking request we made to our final departure!

We initially thought that this was merely a taxi tour... but were pleasantly surprised when we were met by Dimitris, who, although was our driver for the day, began telling us all about what Santorini was, came to be, what went on and what it was like. The day consisted of being driven to where we wanted, stopping for photos and tours and lunching. We went for a swim after lunch, and were given a beach shade free of charge after Dimitris talked with one of the owners of the restaurant next door. Afterwards, there was still a bit of time left before our driving time was up, so instead of going back to the cruise ship, we asked if there was anything else worth seeing... there was! Dimitris took us to the highest point of the island for a final view of Santorini... breathtaking. In all, this was a brilliant tour, Dimitris obviously knows his stuff about santorini and is a very friendly bloke. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a different and cheaper option than a cruise tour!

Bus is the cheapest way to move in Santorini. A taxi will be 20-30. Bus is 1.60. All buses from Fira and back; no buses between other places.

Hmmmm...… Where should I start :) While doing a Google search on Santorini Island Tours, came across Santorini Best Tours By Omega Travel. It was a blessing in disguise... sent a mail through their website, Veroniki was very prompt and immediately replied to my mail ( I assume it was almost 11PM in Santorini :) ) Requested some info about the tours, she really understood what we wanted, remember this is a fully customized private tour service. The web page has all the information to go through. We booked taxi Tour with local / Wine tour and Boat tour to Volcano ( this tour is shared and done by a different tour company ) To start with Panos the handsome tour guide cum chauffeur picked up from the ferry terminal and went through the whole island 6 hour tour with local visiting all the interesting places. He was very jovial / informative and fun to hang around :) Bravo to him. Then we did the Wine tour with Nataliya, she was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed her 4 hour company enjoying sipping wine. She was very informative / knowledgeable and fun :) Boat tour was shared, Omega Tours handled all the paper work. It was fun trip enjoyed the company of the boat and other different nationalities that we met there. If you want to have private tour of Santorini Island I would have no hesitation recommending Santorini Best Tours by Omega Travels. Importantly the price is right too. We were a couple, the money that we spent fully worth the every penny. They do have specials, which may sometimes not on the their website. My advice talk to them, write to them. No issues with paying by credit card for the services. Very punctual / well maintained vehicles provided for travel. Thank you Veroniki / Nataliya / Panos / Yannis, sorry I couldn't get the name of the Photographer and his assistant :( We had a great time in Santorini Island. Really appreciate the hospitality that provided to us. Hopefully we will see you one day again until then cheers my friends :)
