The venue can provide every service you can possible imagine and their communication is prompt and precise. Iosifina and her staff were great to work with!

We are stuck in Australia, unable to travel to Santorini and it has been 18 months since we had to cancel our wedding and there has been no sympathy at all. All we paid was 5 thousand dollars AUD 2 years out from our wedding they had nothing to even do for our wedding at the time. We handed the money over with excitement. Then Covid hit and our country is still in lockdown. These theives have decided to keep our money even though we have no control over our situation. They did not have to invest one minute into our wedding except write up a receipt and yet we are now robbed of a service we have not and will not receive. The Greek law introduced to protect people from Covid losses has failed. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY PEOPLE! It is not worth it. They admitted to our wedding planner they are keeping the money to keep their business. They have ruined the beginning of of our lives together that is a large sum of money that would go a long way in someones wedding and because they decided their business "needs" the money it makes it ok to steal it from us. Would we expect this service if we were shopping? I can see they have also deleted many other bad reviews too so I will just keep on posting this. No skin off my back.

As the name states, it's a gem in the island, with a perfect sunset every night without having to make your way to Oia and be in a crowded place. I got married at the Gem in September 2017 and it couldn't have been better. As we were planning the wedding from Florida, USA, I was nervous about not seeing the venue before the wedding, but none of the little things I was worrying about became an issue. I was worried that the winery next door was too close, but I didn't even notice it or any of the people there at all! The restaurant is very spacious with plenty of greenery around (not common in the island) that provided many places for photos and the food was amazing! The staff was so helpful and friendly! In the months before the wedding, we worked with Iosifina and she was great in answering all of our questions and helping us in any way possible. We used Poema Weddings as our planners and they worked with Iosifina and the Gem staff in arranging everything and figuring our the logistics, the only thing we had to do was show up (and eat!). All of our guests loved the venue and the beautiful view, it is currently most of our friends' and family's facebook profile photos! I really can't recommend the Gem enough!!
