It was amazing food(salad, pita sand and cheese), wine pairing and hospitality with great view.
Staffs are very polite and knowleable.
it's much better than Santo winery which is more commercialized and left customer service behind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great spot to enjoy a variety of wonderful local made wines. Outstanding experience with a beautiful, breathtaking view of Santorini and Volcano! Truly one of a kind. The food was very tasty and the service super friendly. For 35 Euro (per person) you will get 4 wines and two plates of different paired foods. Definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Venetsanos Winery is an interesting building in a wonderful position, with good wine but basic food pairings.
We booked a tasting with food in advance, which was a little pricier than some of the other tastings. The wine itself was OK, as were the explanations given by the staff. It wasn't as informative about the wines as Vassaltis Winery, or about the production process and tastes as Maria at Kipos in Fira.
The food was fine. The salad was quite tasty, but the 'greek pizza' had far too much cheese which had to be half removed. We couldn't eat the smoked cheese as it was so strong. We warned the winery in advance that we were pescatarian, which was forgotten as we had to ask to remove pork from one of the dishes.
The staff doing the tasting were helpful and welcoming, but the member of staff at the entrance was not so warm and was quite short with us.
It's worth visiting for the view of the caldera, which is incredible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a good time! The view was very nice, and the staff were very knowledgeable. It was a beautiful day! The reason I deducted a star was the balance between price and amount of wine/cheese per person- the bill was a bit steep. Still, I'd reccomend this place if you want to avoid the crowds!
