Continuing until nowadays responsibly and non-stop, the long tradition and history that began in the distant 1922 at the chain’s first restaurant in Athens, the new and luxurious cafe-bar-restaurant Savvas opened in early 2014 on Ermou Street, Monastiraki District and offers traditional cuisine with quality ingredients that the Athenians and rest visitors have been experiencing in the past decades and continues to honor with their presence until now.

The newest member of the restaurant chain Savvas, distinguishes among Athens Restaurants, as it is the only restaurant of the chain and one of the very few traditional restaurants in Greece that are located in a modern 4 level building that is divided to:

a) The Taverna (ground floort) that provides with an internal garden with natural waters and stage for music with traditional instruments and musicials, for a friendly taverna atmosphere.

J	Jaana M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooftop view is worth it. But anything else not. Food is average. Very crowded during dinner time 9-10 pm, and difficult to get a table. There are aircons that blow harsh cold air directly and when not having a scarf or jacket, or can get unpleasantly cold.

We ordered the Savvas assortment platter which comes with pork and chicken gyros, souvlaki and doner kebab, as well as some fresh pittas, fries, onions and tomatoes. We ordered the feta dip and some drinks on the side - the food was amazing, it was a great way to figure out what our favourites types of meat are, and to top it all the bill was under 30€. Highly recommended to visit this spot, the service was also very good so we will definitely be visiting again

Fristly our server was lovely, he was enagged understood us and gave us some god recommendation. The ambience is lovely, and the finally the food was delicious.

All the menu that we had were amazing. Will visit there again for sure. Best view towards the front side of acropolis.

The Argela was also great even compared to the ones you have in the Middle East which is known for its quality. The laham ajeen was also delicious ?

The portions are big, the food is very tasty and authentic and priced very reasonably taking into consideration the location. The service was friendly and the waiter was very helpful when it came to advising side dishes to go with the meal etc. Highly recommend the Kebab and the pork chops as main meals. You cannot visit without trying the patates twister, homemade crispy potatoes with cheese, onions, tomatoes and a homemade sauce.
