Αξίζει να το επισκεφτείτε, είναι πολύ κοντά στο Ηράκλειο και να το συνδυάσετε με φαγητό στη Ρογδια. Very nice route as well as the unique monastery. Pay attention to the visiting schedule. It is worth visiting, it is very close to Heraklion and to combine it with food in Rogdia.

Αν και λίγο δύσκολο να το βρεις, αξίζει πραγματικά να το επισκεφτεί κανείς. Το καθολικό της μονής είναι αφιερωμένο στο Γενέσιο της Θεοτόκου, ενώ η μεγάλη εκκλησία στην είσοδο στον Αγ. Αντώνιο. A real sanctuary. It is located close to Heraklion (about 20 km) above the village of Rogdia. Although a little difficult to find, it is really worth a visit. The katholikon of the monastery is dedicated to the Genesis of the Virgin Mary, while the large church at the entrance to Ag. Antonio.

Bel acceuil des religieuses. Joli verger et jardins. Un havre de paix. La route qui y monte permet des vues superbes sur la côte nord de la Crête et sur Heraklion Monastery located on top of a hill 30km from Heraklion above the village of Podgia. Slightly winding access road. Allow 20-30 mins. Nice welcome from the nuns. Nice orchard and gardens. A haven of peace. The road going up there allows superb views of the north coast of Crete and Heraklion

Πολύ όμορφη διαδρομή προς το εξωκκλήσι του Αγίου Αντωνίου μέσα στη φύση It is worth the visit to this beautiful monastery .. the nuns are very hospitable and you feel the Peace in your soul when you leave !!!! Very beautiful route to the chapel of Agios Antonios in nature
