Wonderful haute cuisine in Greek style, with great wine and friendly service - and quite affordable! For € 50 per person you have an extensive meal including wine. Highly recommend it!

Enjoyed a beautiful meal here during our honeymoon. The food was delicious - the croquettes with 'truffle stones' especially tasty - as were the selection of Greek wines we had with it. Our server, Adamantia, was friendly and knowledgeable, advising us on the best wines to complement the dishes we had chosen, and even going as far as to email us recommendations for wineries to visit when we go to Santorini. Make sure you book a table, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing food and staff. Really happy I chose to eat here. Not a lot of items in the menu but what they serve is very well prepared and presented. Entrance is on one of stairs leading up to Lycabettus. Do not miss it if you are in the area. Just a bit pricy but well worth it. Great wine selection.

An upscale restaurant in Kolonaki, hidden behind the kiosk on Sina. Went during the refugee food festival and tried the Moroccan menu. The lamb and chicken were amazing. A friend has tried the regular menu and reported the same. Service is on point. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.

As soon as you enter Scala Vinoteca, you immediately know that you will have an unforgettable experience. From the heartwarming welcome of the staff and the sommelier, to the succulent complimentary amuses bouches, Scala Vinoteca is a fascinating trip towards the world of gastronomy. Each and every dish is as unique for the eyes and taste. The passion, effort and skills of the chef is clearly reproduced on our plates, to the point that many of them turned out to be one the most tastiest dishes i have ever eaten. There is no true speciality there, as every single dish is an experience on its own. As many times as i go there, i keep getting pleasantly suprised with the result that i can't pick a favourite dish. An amazing dinner wouldn't be complete without a dessert. And one thing is for certain, the desserts there are by far the tastied in Athens( and beyond). Yet, what makes Scala Vinoteca so special, is above anything else, the heartening care of the staff. Indeed, with their shinning smile, immaticulous care for their custumers and notable generosity, Scala Vinoteca truely set the exemple of how hospitality should always be in restaurants. Dining at Scala Vinoteca is not your ordinary meal, but a memorable experience that will keep 'forcing you to come back' to taste more of the chef's achievements. Iasson S.

For our final dinner in Athens, we decided to try this restaurant because of the incredible 5 star rating with 600+ reviews from Tripadvisor, which is amazing, we thought. Well, we are now a believer of Scala Vinoteca. The food was simply amazing and very creative. I had squid over smoked eggplant with truffle cream sauce for starter then risotto with cray fish and a piece of perfectly sautéed foie gras. Never had this these combinations int he past but they worked very nicely, better than some of the experimental one star Michelin places we've tried. The Gaia Wild Ferment Assyrtiko was the perfect wine to accompany the seafood dishes. We now understand why this establishment has 5 stars from over 600 reviewers. Bravo!

One of the most amazing dinner experiences ever! If you are in Athens for a night you need to come here. Fantastic food, everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and exceptionally tasty. The staff was super helpful in guiding us to the best entrees and wine to pair. We also received a free dessert and an accompanying dessert wine to finish off our wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
