Τίτλος έργου: Στην άγνωστη εθελόντρια αδελφή Θέση: Λ. Βασιλίσσης Σοφίας & Αγγέλου Πυρή (Ιπποκράτειο Νοσοκομείο) Έτος κατασκευής: 1972 Υλικό Κατασκευής: Μάρμαρο Καλλιτέχνης: Λουκία Γεωργαντή Εθελόντρια αδελφή νοσοκόμα με την χαρακτηριστική στολή παρουσιάζεται στο μαρμάρινο γλυπτό με τρόπο σχεδόν συμβολικό. Με μια ελαφριά κλήση της κεφαλής της, χωρίς να τονίζονται ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά της, στέκει ως δείγμα υπομονής και αφοσίωσης. Η υπόλοιπη μορφή της νοσοκόμας στο γλυπτό παρουσιάζεται έντεχνα, έτσι ώστε να δημιουργείται η ψευδαίσθηση ότι η μορφή της νοσοκόμας είναι τυλιγμένη με την μπερντά της στολής των εθελοντριών. Το γλυπτό εδράζεται σε μαρμάρινο βάθρο λίγο μεγαλύτερων διαστάσεων. Στο αριστερό μέρος της βάσης περιέχεται ορειχάλκινο κλαδί δάφνης συμβολίζοντας την ένδειξη τιμής της κοινωνίας προς το σώμα των εθελοντριών αδελφών νοσοκόμων. Κάτι που τονίζει η αναγραφόμενη δίπλα σε αυτό φράση: «ΤΗ ΑΓΝΩΣΤΩ ΕΘΕΛΟΝΤΡΙΑ ΑΔΕΛΦΗ». Η επιγραφή συμπληρώνεται με την φράση που είναι χαραγμένη στο πλαϊ του βάθρου «ΤΙΜΗΣ ΕΝΕΚΕΝ Ο ΔΗΜΟΣ ΑΘΗΝΑΙΩΝ ΕΣΤΗΣΕΝ 1972». Αξίζει να αναφέρουμε ότι το συγκεκριμένο έργο είχε απορριφθεί το 1964 από την Πανελλήνια Καλλιτεχνική Έκθεση. Τον επόμενο χρόνο ωστόσο παρουσιάστηκε στο Παρίσι, όπου βραβεύτηκε από την Societe des Artistes Francais με τον τίτλο «Αδελφή του ελέους». Στη συνέχεια η γλύπτρια για το συγκεκριμένο έργο τιμήθηκε με δίπλωμα από τον Ελληνικό Ερυθρό Σταυρό.

With a light call to her head, without emphasizing her particular features, she stands as a sign of patience and dedication. The rest of the figure of the nurse in the sculpture is artfully presented, to create the illusion that the figure of the nurse is wrapped in the collar of the volunteer uniform. The sculpture rests on a slightly larger marble pedestal. On the left side of the base there is a brass laurel branch symbolizing the honor of society towards the body of volunteer nurses. Something highlighted by the phrase next to it: "I KNOW VOLUNTEER BROTHER". The inscription is completed with the inscription on the side of the pedestal "PRICE NECKEN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ATHENS ESTABLISH 1972". It is worth mentioning that this work was rejected in 1964 by the Panhellenic Art Exhibition. The following year, however, it was presented in Paris, where it was awarded by the Societe des Artistes Francais with the title "Sister of Mercy". Then the sculptor for this work was awarded a diploma by the Greek Red Cross.
