Sea View Beach Bar Restaurant - Spirou Lera

Very nice staff. The food was ok but... barely warm. Half way through my dish was already cold. A bit pricey but with a nice view of the beach and hill side.

I can not really relate to the bad reviews of this place. The beach chairs are very expensive, yes. But you are free to buy bring your own sun umbrella and a towel and just sit at the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and especially when the sea is wavy and you can not swimming in other places, here it is possible because there are no waves. The restaurant on the other side of the road is good and all in all, it is worth a trip.

Terrible food. Verry fetty bleee. Waiter have us higher bill that should be issue. Never ever :p

Nothing better than having always cold beverages, coffee and fresh food when laying in front of the amazing Stavros lagoon. Yes, prices are higher than average but I believe it is normal for such a location and justified by the quality of the services. Just a simple example: for a simple bottle of water they bring you a bucket of ice to keep it cold.

Very expensive sunbeds. 20€. On other beautiful beaches 6-8€. A lot has changed here and not for the good. The taverna is already closed for the season, although it says they open op Monday, but that’s not possible, everything in the bar is shut off and wrapped in plastic. There is laying a lot of garbage and the pool water looks dangerously green. Also when you look at the menu, the prices are sky high. Better go elsewhere.

It takes a lot of "bad" to get a 1-star review from me. Forget the 15-20 EURO price for the beach chair and umbrella rental, it went up to 25 EUROS, and what a complete rip-off! The beach is nothing special for Crete beaches, attitude and service from some of the staff is terrible (other staff is ok). Take a look at the menu prices for generic food and beer items, complete rip-off! Beach sand and water quality, nothing special. The thing with a lot of these Greek tourist operations is that they don't understand that more and more people are using Google reviews to determine if they will go to a venue or not and the owner(s) here simply do not care, and that will be to their disadvantage in the future because they think they can take advantage of tourists but technology is giving tourists more and more power of choice! :) I recommend you choose to completely avoid this place. Let me give you an example: if you go to Cabana Mare in Agia Marina, the beach bar is high-end, the beach chairs are free with any drink order and prices are decent! No scamming of tourists at Cabana Mare and the experience is wildly better than anything at Stavros. The beauty of writing this review is that I did it using their Wi-Fi :)

Service is slow, the food is nothing special and is too expensive. Enough just to have some quick snack if you are really hungry or just to have some drink. Qual

The food was great and nicely served, and the meal exceeded our expectations. It was pricey but seafood usually is. The staff was efficient. We ordered the fried calamari and grilled octopus which was served with sides and was good as well. You need to ask about the sides because some options don't include them. Also it's just across from the beach so the view is great.
