A must for those who visit the majestic mount Pelion for the first time. Not your typical bed'n'breakfast, an amazing youthful project offering a variety of stylish but comfy rooms to suit every traveler's needs, from youth groups to couples to families, there's something for everyone. Managers and staff were super friendly and accommodating, always to be reached and eager to offer tips for the entire area, helping us make the most of our 3-day visit to the beautiful town of Makrinitsa and Pelion mountain. Even tempted for a bit to try some yoga on the terrace for myself, but finally opted for cocktails at the hotel cafe's balcony, enjoying the breathtaking views over Pagasitikos gulf and the coty of Volos. Maybe I had myself one too many to drink, and think I saw a centaur wave at me! Thanks you Selina for a truly beautiful experience. Will definitely visit again

Amazing staff, excellent views of the city and the bay. A bit hard to get to (lacks public transport, taxi ~20eur from the center) but it is worth the effort.

TEN STARS! ?✨?⭐️??✴️? I absolutely loved my stay here. I came for one night, as I needed a place to sleep before going sailing for a week, but when I finished that, I came back and ended up staying about a month or longer here. It is still one of my most cherished travel memories. I loved the Selina. Very clean. Cool design. Beautiful surroundings. The village of Makrinitsa is a true GEM! ?I really enjoyed the pure solitude and quietness of the village. It was a nice reminder to slow down and appreciate life for all it has to offer. I got to know more than a few locals whom I now call friends (and miss very much!) I was there during the time of the grand opening, so I really enjoyed the weekend of festivities, food, music, and cultural experiences. The Selina staff arranged for some activities which I loved, including rock climbing, cooking class, and horseback riding. ??‍??? Throughout my stay, I stayed in four different rooms. From dorm style to private ensuite. Each was perfect and cozy. You can feel the hand-decorated touch added to each room. Oh, there is a lot of beautiful art and murals throughout the sprawling property. I love the maze of stairs, pathways and corridors. It seems to help keep the place cool. Another thing I really enjoyed was hearing the water running in nearby streams and fountains, with fresh water coming down from Mt. Pelion. ? The view from Selina, as well as anywhere in the village is simply stunning. The sunsets are incredible. I loved every single moment. I think I see myself visiting here many more times for the rest of my life. ? Last thing I want to say, the people I met in Makrinitsa, Volos, and the surrounding region, are some of the KINDEST and most generous I’ve ever met. ? If you have the chance to stay here, you will not be disappointed. Come with an open heart and mind and you will find some new discoveries for your life.

The best stay in pilion! Wonderful view, very very nice and helpful staff, the common areas are so nice, it’s just make you feel at home. We definitely come back soon!

Leonardo here from Berlin Germany have a beautiful time with friends in this amazing unique Selina Hostel up in the mountains in a very lovely old stone village with small streets and a very special stone roof and stone wall atmosphere never I want forget ? Hostel is equipped with everything cinema room, kitchen, wonderful lobby And of course a very friendly staff like Irini, Tina, Akirs and Makisk and more I enjoyed the cosy room with a fireplace and the artistic room and the stylish furniture incl. The bathroom with a amazing view in the valley Wonderful time and a mystical centaurs path with old trees and the very beautiful views and fees air make this trip unforgettable Thanks a lot for this stay an all of Selina ???
