It is one of the best high end restaurant in Chania. The food has great looking and great taste. The service was also top.

One of the best dining experiences of my life. We had the vegan menu and the food and service was perfect!

Phenomenal multi-course meal with wine-pairing (knowledgeable and friendly sommelier) for a reasonable price, given the quality. Couldn’t recommend more highly if you are after a fine-dining/romantic meal in Chania.

Unfortunately we could not enjoy our last evening of our holidays with the dinner here. Although we had a confirmed reservation via our hotel, the restaurant was closed. Our hotel was also not informed about that, so we just closed doors on a Saturday evening at 9pm. Quite difficult to find a seat in another good restaurant at that time...

We had a great dinner at the Serenissima and the staff & service was WOW!!! The food was super creative and most importent - DELICIOUS. We definitly highly recommend for everyone who want to enjoy an amazing culinary experience.

The absolute best in Chania. The chef Youssif Petroff has specialiased in France with Paul Bocuse. He combines art and innovation in a journey at the exploration of new tastes and food experiences. Wine list and sommelier are also good. Go there and take the journey. Prices are in the range of 70k person including wine. A fraction of what you would pay for this kind of meal anywhere else.

We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday at this marvelous restaurant. It is difficult to understand, why this restaurant is not higher rated. We have experience with Michelin star restaurants (all over Europe) and this restaurant doesn't fall short in comparison with any of them. The food was wonderfully creative and harmoniously well-composed. It was an enormous pleasure to experience the Chef's ability to combine a huge array of different ingredients to a complex and harmonious whole. We were served two amuse-bouches, the first gave an impression of classical cretan tastes and the second (4-5 small plates) show-cased the chef's virtuosic ability to mix naively "ill-fitting" ingredients to a wonderful harmonious composition. We loved all of them. We chose one starter, two main courses and a dessert each (in the set-up of earth/mer respectively) and the chef only continued to show-case his abilities on the bigger stage now. It was simply a wonderful culinary experience which left us more than satisfied. In addition to the wonderful food, we were simply enchanted by the sommelière who accompanied each course with a fantastic wine selection, not only by far the best we had during our travels in Crete but one of the finest we had in general. We learned a lot about local (red) wines and enjoyed her charming company during the diner. All in all a wonderful experience. We will certainly come back and encourage every food/wine lover visiting (or living in) Chania to try this restaurant. We heartily thank the restaurant for a fantastic experience. (The front row waiters were very charming and efficient, sometimes a tiny bit "too efficient" maybe, but always adding a lot of charme with a nice smile and great "greek" hospitality).

We had a lovely and delicious dinner. Everything looked and tasted perfectly. I'd just like to give the staff a little advice: if there are very few people in the restaurant, please don't stand behind guests' backs and take their plates as soon as they finish the last bite - makes for a bit of a rushed atmosphere. :) Other than that: we had a great experience!
