About SHARK Water Sports Varkiza
Angelo is one of the founders of SHARK Water Sports and is a waterski, wakeboard and wake surf instructor. A water ski, ski tricks and slalom legend, Angelo is also one of the most energetic, fun-loving and motivational instructors you'll ever meet. He was a member of the Greek National Water Ski team and has over 20 years of experience coaching water sports.
During his competitive career, Angelo earned many awards, including among others:

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for trying wakeboard, all good until the experience that I paid for was not what I was expecting. I was instructed only with the bar that is attached on the side of the boat and I was expecting after this to have the rope and be pulled by the boat. Apparently to have this I nedded to go another try and pay again. I wanted the full experience, if you advertise your services like this you will get reviews like this one. You don't expect for someone to pay 40 euros just for that, if you tell them that it was just training and you don't get the full experience. Just let the customer know from the begging that he needs to pay 80 euros for full experience. Is that hard? You have two stars just because of the guy on the boat with curly hair that filmed me (one star) and (another star) for the lady that was with the boat. Other three stars are missing for: the two guys at the front desk that don't advertise it properly and another star missing for lack of safety instructions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good convenient location , great sea, indifferent and chill personnel resulting in very average customer service. Expect to get tourists treatment, they definitely do not care if you come back. After a few lessons the kid was bored, parents have no clue what is the lesson about and safety is never discussed. Take one lesson, try to have fun but if you want to learn a skill look for more involved instructors

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best experience ever near Athens, enjoy all year long the sun and the sea, sliding on the water is amazing, I couldn't belive I can make it so easily, you need a few lessons but the experience of these guys is huge and very friendly. First tried my two daughters and then me. With 3 lessons I was wake boarding like a pro ;)

We have been going back summer after summer for the last couple of years and we have always been made to feel very looked after by everyone in the SHARK crew. Jim (aka Jimbo) is a fantastic water ski coach, who is able to take someone from complete amateur to skiing on the “rope” in a couple of sessions. Keep it up guys and see you next time we are in Athens! ????
