★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On working days it is ok, entrance 6e per person and free sunbeds. Weekends are disaster. 7.5e entrance per person + 15e 2 sunbeds! And nobody when we paid entrance told us that we will need to pay for sunbeds plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Varkiza Resort is my favorite resort in Athens. I choose this place for my summer vacation for 10 years now. It is such an amazing place that can give you a really amazing experience. Everything is perfect. The sunbeds are of a very high quality, thick mattresses and very flexible in the adjustment of the body. It has everything around. Excellent service, snack food, coffee and beverages plus a restaurant with fish food. Amazing clean water, yellow sand, great music, everything is just simply perfect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricey entrance fee of nearly 30 euros if you want sunbeds. Facilities are good and clean. I was amazed that in 2020 they still used plastic straws which were wrapped in plastic... This was blown all over the beach and into the sea. Each beach bar was trying to play their music louder than the next so if you are looking for a relaxed beach day, maybe best to give it a miss.!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice sandy beach, shallow water and family friendly. Beware that on top of the entrance fee you need to pay extra (20 eur + 30 euro credit towards food and drink) for 2 sunbeds, beachfront view. Good value for money if you spend the full day there. Parking is extra cost as well, 5 eur

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are a lot of entertainment,very clean bottom,but if you are going to visit this place at the weekend you need to be ready pay more,tickets cost 6€ on workdays and 7,5 € on holidays and days off,but after that you also will pay for Sun beds 7,5€ and if you won’t to do it you will go to fence,where just a small piece of space on the sand
And we came on Monday and sun Beds were supposed to be for free as they said it near the entrance,but you need to know in some way that they have different type of beds,for one of them you need to order for 40€ in restaurant
It felt like they wanted more and more money for everything))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited in May of 2022, and I thoroughly recommend visiting this time of year! The resort did not have beach chairs setup however super comfortable bean bag chairs were free and the resort did not charge an entrance fee. The weather is perfect (22-26 degrees Celsius), not a cloud in the sky! The water is clear and beautiful, the sand is fine and very few rocks to stub a toe on. The ocean is shallow for a good 100 feet so the kiddos had a blast playing in the water.
Bonus: Greeks seem to think this is cold weather for the beach so it was practically empty!
