★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely stay, brilliant staff ✓( Polish waitress was very friendly and top energetic Bulgarian girl at breakfast too). Clean rooms, daily housekeeping did lovely job, food tasty, pool area clean with sunbeds right infront of the sea, beautiful view. Recommended for couples who are looking for quiter area to spend holidays..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I had a really nice stay here. The rooms are not very big, but clean and comfy and they cleaned them every day. The food was OK, we definitely never had the feeling we were starving, also the staff was really nice. The only thing I would list as a negative is the room safe situation. The safe inside the room was in a closet and not build in, so if someone broke in, they could just take it and run off with it because it wasn't particularly heavy. So don't get a room safe. Other than that, we had a lovely time. We recommend it to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a hotel but rooms which have access to the facilities of a different hotel down the road. We cancelled our stay as there wasn't easy access with a baby to the facilities ( had to walk along the beach with a stroller or along the road in the heat )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a great location because is very closely to the see; the rooms are spacious, modern furniture and very clean. Unfortunately the breakfast was very poor. I think it’s very possible to be more diversified food this is the reason I choose to get just 3 points. When you are on holiday you can’t get the some food in every morning ( ex. boiled eggs...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are currently spending our 1-week holiday here (we booked Sunset Beach Hotel, but this hotel belongs to the SHotels group like Almare Beach Hotel). Our rooms were located in the adjacent building Almare Beach, 2 minutes walk away from the Main facility.
Pretty decent rooms, very tidy and clean, air conditioning is available, too. Staff is very friendly and accomodating; the service is pretty good. Especially the guy named Onisimos, who knows your wish before you even express it. The food consists of typical Cretan specialties and was always a treat (we booked half board).
The beach is 10 meters away from the hotel and there is also a swimming pool with a bar where you can spend lazy afternoons sipping cocktails.
To sum it up, we really got very good value for the money. I can clearly recommend this hotel. Albeit, for those with physical disabilities, this hotel is less suitable.
