★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, cozy, budget, family run hotel. Friendly staff, good food, awesome beach for Crete area and perfect location not far away from the airport. Supermarkets, shops and tavernas all around. Family friendly too. If you dont mind the planes flying right over the beach when landing - I'd recomend it withou any doubt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful place, with wonderful people. The location is very close to the sea, the pool is very clean, and the staff helps you with any information you need. You are offered the opportunity to go on various trips, rent a car or bike. I rented a car at a very good price and I was very satisfied. Everything was perfect and I will return with great pleasure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good, renovated, clean rooms. Food was good. However, the best thing was the service! Personnel took the time to learn our names and greated us every morning with a happy "Kalimera!". They were happy to help in any way they could. It felt like visiting friends for holiday. Would gladly return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Behind the modest facade one finds spacious, comfortable and perfectly clean rooms and a great team of warm, friendly and helpful Crete people. If you haven't exprienced the unique Greek (or Cretan) approach of making you feel special or if you miss it - MARILISSA is your place. The more so as everything is at hand - in and out of the hotel - the pool, the beaches, the good buffet food, the neighbouring shops and restaurants, Heraklion and Knossos, the Aquarium and the Dinosaurus park ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was attentative and helpfull. Always in a good mood thus created very friendly atmosphere.
Location of the hotel is great, just next to the sea, close to tavernas and shops.
Room was spacious.
Comfortable bed.
We liked the dinner (lots of choice, also traditional greek food). Breakfast - hams, cheeses, veggies, jams, nutella, greek yogurt and only one choise of warm food (boiled eggs, omlette, sunny side up eggs - each on different day). We missed some more choices of warm food.
We also tried food from the menu - pita gyros (8,5 eur) and souvlaki (8,5 eur) and the food was great. Juicy meat, golden and crispy chips, very fluffy pita (I could eat it only with tzatziki every day) and huge portions!
