Από τον σταθμό πέρασαν ο τελευταίος σουλτανος Αβδουλ Χαμίτ , ο πρίγκιπας Φερδινανδος της Βουλγαρίας , ο Βασιλιάς Κωνσταντίνος της Ελλάδας, ο Ελευθέριος Βενιζέλος και ο Κωνσταντίνος Καραμανλής. Η περίοδος 1955-1975 ήταν η χρυσή εποχή για τον σταθμό. Από τις αρχές του 1990 άρχισε η παρακμή. Τα τελευταία δεκαπέντε χρόνια έχει εγκαταλειφθει στην φθορά του χρόνου!
 The station began to be built in 1894. The last sultan Abdul Hamit, Prince Ferdinand of Bulgaria, King Constantine of Greece, Eleftherios Venizelos and Constantine Karamanlis passed through the station. 1955-1975 was the golden age for the station. The decline began in the early 1990s. The last fifteen years has been abandoned to the deterioration of time!
